Łódź 2022. Office sector grows like never before.

There has never been such a growth in office developments in Łódź. By 2022, the sector will increase by over 200,000 sqm. The largest developers, spectacular projects, new tenants – what are further perspectives? How does the office market respond to the expectations of the young generation? What will the offices of the future look like? The discussion participated by Dagmara Jarmicka, EuroptimaŁódź Office Director, led to many interesting conclusions.

“Digital is a natural environment for young generation of employees and it will definitely be a key criteria for developers when designing new office spaces. Ensuring comfortable working conditions is no longer enough – we should focus on innovative PropTech solutions that increase efficiency and raise the standard of the workplace” said Dagmara “Integrated applications with such functions as conference room management, personalizing office parameters (light or temperature), parking spaces management,  ordering courier services, lunch or laundry delivery and many more – all in one smartphone – this is how the work environment will look like in future. “

Panellists agreed that the offices of the future will be planned as coworking spaces and flex offices. The flexibility of the office space is crucial – this is one of the main expectations of future tenants. The popularity of coworking spaces is growing not only among freelancers but also among medium and large companies, including corporations. For sure, an interesting interior design use of pro-ecological solutions will continue to be of great importance.
